Mission Bay Youth Watersports Camp
Description: This extremely exciting watersports day camp sponsored by the Peninsula Family YMCA is held at SDSU and UCSD’s Mission Bay Aquatic Center. Campers age 6-17 attend weekly sessions in basic and advanced: wakeboarding, waterskiing, surfing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, rowing, and marine science. Camp operational hours are 8:00 am to 3:30 pm with optional early or late supervision.

Adur Bath Tub Race - Home Page
Description: The Adur Bath Tub Race, run by Shoreham and Southwick Round Table, is an annual event held to raise funds for local needy charity groups. The race is for 'bath tub' crafts made to a set of rules, the start is at the Bramber bridge with a four mile course ending at the Adur Recreation Grounds in Shoreham. Great fun is had by competitors and spectators alike. The start in particular, and the meandering walk along the river with the tubs is quite a spectacle.
